The power of silence…

article image placeholderUploaded by @WarPig73
Hey. Good morning from a beautiful, cloudy and possibly rainy Friday southern California day. Hey. Today we are going to talk about the power of silence. Silence. The power of silence. What does silence mean to you? Is it merely the absence of sound? Is it the inability to remain comfortable and quiet? Do you fear silence? True silence? I'm talking about silence. Get into a place where no distractions can be affecting your silence, your ability to try or to be silent

Hey, Warpig. Hi, eric here. Hey, thanks for the invite, man. Happy Friday. So, quick answer to your question, which is part of your self care was time with me. Well, I'm a nature guy. I spent many years hiking and backpacking in mountains, and I love being out there and I love the silence. The only thing I really want to hear when I'm out there is me breathing

I need to do a better job about responding to people's invites, but unfortunately, with the time zone I'm in and then obviously with my schedule, I need to just do a better job and not give so much to my schedule and get more back to as well when people invite me. So thanks for leading by example on that one. I absolutely love your response. I couldn't agree with you more

In my head. I was like, that's crazy as h***. But listen, if it comes down to patient safety and someone's about to make a stupid decision that's going to impact safe patient care or the flow and delivery of safe patient care, then yes, JL is going to pipe up and say something because that's the hill I'm going to die on. But you know what?

Hey, j. L or pick 73 here. I just want to let you know that I enjoyed listening to your post, and I'm going to quote some of your verbiage that I absolutely love. I use the same vernacular. And here we go. The hill that I will die on bask in quiet time. Don't feel obligated to do, say, think, or feel anything. I actually said that. You didn't, but I'm tied in with what you did say

Hello, Kerry. Warp 73 here. First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to respond to my post. I do appreciate your thoughts, appreciate your perspective and your time as well. Thank you for for your service. I also enjoyed your story about how every time you heard the oath being given, they gave you cold chills and never got old. I can agree and I can also relate

Thanks Warpig. I will truly try to stay savage and protect that peace. It is really important and I love how you end things that way. I'm going to end things with some of my very own little bits of nature sounds for you tending to my evening chores around my property and I'm near the chicken coop so hopefully you'll get a little cluck and maybe a cockadoor will do to get some uninterrupted non human invaded sound here as I piece out with gratitude for the weekend. Here you go

And for those who is going to listen, don't let your thoughts overpower your day. Do all you can to pray off, to meditate it off, to just get it out of your way so you can be able to do what you need to do. You all stay blessed

So what I'm saying is, although today your quiet time may be interrupted, work on attempting to remain in the uncomfortable parts when you're being challenged in your quiet time so that you can take it back. So you can take it back. So what walking costume do you wear daily? What walking costume do I wear daily? I just chose the word costume because it seemed to fit. But don't be overwhelmed. Remain in your faith. Remain focused on the one who has all the answers

Silence to me is frightening

But, yeah, silence is something that I don't particularly like it. I don't really know how to deal with it. Silence, I just have to be in the right headspace in order for me to feel like I'm getting something out of it, to where I'm relaxing. I mean, I do like silence and to be in the complete dark when I'm sleeping, because that does feel comfortable

Or Pig 73. This is Michigan Pathways. Silence to me is a multitude of different emotions and feelings. Silence to me, can be anywhere. The most place I ever find silence is when I'm backpacking, taking myself away from the world to where I have nothing around me but the trees, the trails and what if it's there? But sometimes that silence can affect emotion and also the psyche. It can play with you out there alone
