First City Council meeting of 2023
The thing, the highlight for me on the first city council meeting of 2023, obviously, was the fact that I had a great colleague and great advocate of justice, Chanbury Lee, join the Maplewood City Council for the first time as he was elected in this last election. And we are so excited to have him on. It will be great to have an ally. I look forward to the things that he brings up

And if I think of any other questions, I'd love to pepper you a little bit more because I'm just so interested in politics at all levels levels, and especially the local ones, because that's where we really build community. Yes, our city will be purchasing drones for the police department to use for looking for suspects and mostly in large events to oversee the event in case of emergencies

Hey, friend. Thanks for replying to my post. The thing that I always tell people to do when they want to get involved in politics is to work for other campaigns. So obviously, every two and four years there is somebody running for office somewhere. And the best way to get to know about politics, how it works, how the sausage is made, is to first volunteer for other campaigns. I've worked for several campaigns all over the state of Minnesota
