They need to keep their head on a swivel if they're gonna go, go to these events, go to these things. I would say the message that I could depart on this to add to this swell is to say, be prepared for shifts in politics, economics and the weather. And there's going to be an eclipse on the 8th. That's the only guarantee in life. Unless we blow each other up in a nuclear holocaust. We will see the eclipse on the 8th

And I thought, you know what? I've been listening to Morse well cast lately and trying to find the pattern of what they do, because that's where I want to go. I want to get into the swell, you know, not this well, I'm in the swell universe right now, but I want to get into more of, you know, professional podcasting and, and how that's done

We'll do a 24 hours, 48 hours news thing. Because you and I could keep people engaged for that long to pay attention and keep them entertained enough to be like, oh, yeah, I'm starting to see through the veil of our society and consumerism and all that stuff that's destroyed us. Some refer to it as sins of the flesh. Others refer to as the good time. And a lot of us have had really good times. And I'm ready

If I actually took that out, it probably would sound pretty good. But I don't know, it's the mixing thing. I'm a camera person and I've spent so much time learning editing and video stuff is I just don't care for audio. And it seems like all my problems will be solved by simply downloading audio editing software. Damn it. I'm tired of learning new things. I hate it. Oh, well. Guess I have the rest of eternity to figure it out

It's just, you know, maybe you can find sponsors or something like that, but, yeah, because the reason why I embedded those two public service announcements is to show people that, you know, if you sponsor the show. And again, I'm thinking a long term here, and I'm focused on the future, that I'm gonna start doing this from now on, unless, well, gives me a red flag saying that I'm not able to do that
@RoosterCollins

@TheSimonShow

And I have been slowly grinding on my version of it. You know, if I want to be a filmmaker, if I want to be, I don't want to be the next Bo Burnham. I want to be better, a little bit better than Bo Burnham or, you know, Rooster Collins, as they say. So I have

But now, based off what you informed me of, literally, as a collective, we are saying, and I hate to be like, kind of joking here, but honestly, we're saying that we're willing to overload our, like, system, our Internet of things, okay? Like GPS. Our potential to access any information. You know, even as far as thinking about, like, Internets are like, you know, internal systems that use four g five g technology

And so I don't advocate somebody not using their cell phone because believe me, everybody's going to do it. And I think that's why the story leans toward the fact that it's going to get overloaded, which I kind of find hard to believe because, you know, these 5g networks are supposed to handle all of this

It's still a race to the fastest signal that can take a data packet to wifi seats. So you look at expanding and look at Verizon to everyone else, and you look at home motors and the rise of ten g, and you realize that, okay, most people can buy ten g device, but actually cannot receive data speeds of ten g. They have a device that's compatible. So that's why I can't blame anyone for taking out an iPhone and recording their memory

You know, I have some tweaks I need to make, but this was the improvement from, like, just the motivation from hearing you and then moving forward. So, yeah, I mean, it's a matter of getting my. It's still like, this was just so, you know, this is all live to tape. So I just recorded this into voice memo and mixed it live on the mixer and then sent it out

Mister Simon de la Rosa, what if, gentlemen. Such as? Such as the brief one and myself and you, Mister Simon de la Rosa, you know, what if we competed in a competition? No, no, no. What if we started a competition for radio stuff, like, who could do the best? Like, I'm seeing ads for people doing public speaking and TED talk crap. It's like American idol for Ted talk. It's all a Ponzi scam

Who could be so good at what they do that the only way for them to get it to someone in its most effective fashion is real time? Because the thing is, the radio voices are about. The radio voices are primarily, you know, they lead to an image in one's mind. For example, when we hear Morgan Freeman's voice, some of us see Morgan Freeman in one place, some of us see Morgan Freeman wearing white, no matter what. And you think of Jim Carrey

And I can tell already you know how to do it. I don't know the realm of your talent. I've heard it all. You want to clean mic when you're focused and you sound incredible. There's no reason, like, you could be an actor, a voice actor. Simon and I are jealous because your voice is just so deep, and there's no way I could get really deep

I think they're all terrible human beings, each individually, and they did some horrendous stuff on their radio show, but nothing they did on their radio show upset me. But now, seeing who they are as a people and the motives behind what they did, I'm like, you really were a gross human being. Of course, those people can always come to the truth and apologize for the things that they've done. They're like, okay, you've just

Like, I crawled my way up from a production assistant to a DP. I went from PA to AC relatively quickly. So, you know, I came up from the bottom. Even though I have a degree, I focused on an area, an expert, and I'm an expert in, like, all things camera. I am a camera, like, cinematographer for experts, and I hate it

Hey, Simon. I was just telling my daughter about this. She's in New York. I was just telling her that she needs to have some NASA approved solar eclipse glasses, and we all do. We do not want to look directly into it. And then even using your phone, you should have some type of glass protection over that as well because you're still looking at it through the lens on your phone. So that's not enough protection to keep you safe

@LadyFi WE ALL RISK THE BISCUIT SOMETIMES 😂

Ladyfi, I love how you always, like, it's a perfect addition because really, like, the safety update really is a thing because every single time, every single time, despite this being an astrophysical physiological occurrence that has happened through millennia, people still blind themselves. If you don't remember the last time that we had a solar eclipse, a total solar eclipse was in the year 2017. And I experienced the totality of that. But I remember it. I remember it like it was yesterday

Hey, Rooster, you are absolutely correct. We do need an additional type of filter if we want to film the eclipse. I have a friend, he's a photographer, but he has, you know, those large size cameras and he has all kinds of filters on them. And he did film the last eclipse, which was great. But no, I will not be filming it. I will not be looking at it through my phone

So yeah, these, these eclipses are wild. Like, like people have been mystified by them for, since the dawn of time. But yeah, like the chicken, like it was already an older chicken. Like just the change in the atmosphere and everything was just too much. It shocked the chicken and it just dropped dead. Scared, scared the chicken shit out of it, you know what I'm saying? Anyways, love you mid ladyfive

Good morning, everyone. Greetings and salutations, brother. Brother Simon, brother Collins, sister Evelyn, and the brief one. Simon. I definitely followed you, like, exactly. I like what you bring to the table. This is major, major radio dj style production right here, and that's a lot of fun. I mean, I went down that rabbit hole, ain't gonna lie. I did it ten years ago, and I just. It just gets exhausting for me

And I think it's great that platforms like swell and other like minded platforms have the ability to share these voices and opinions and ideas and everything under the sun that, you know, makes life worth living and, you know, sharing advice and life stories. I mean, you know, there's enough room for everybody in the universe because we all have one voice. So again, thank you so much for following. Thank you so much for replying.
