Are you afraid of posting your first Swell? Here’s how to overcome that fear…

Hi. This is Deborah, and I wanted to talk about you for a second. I know I don't know you very well, but I'm having a sense that perhaps you might be hesitating. When it comes to talking on swell, some people get overwhelmed. They think that maybe they don't have the great voice. Or they don't know people here. Why would they talk? And I'm here to invite you to just say hi and to talk

#SwellTipsFromSwell It is normal to hesitate.

But anyway, thanks for checking back with me and I appreciate it and I really enjoy this community of swell but I'm looking forward to post more story it here. So anyway thank you so much and I hope you have a great day today and the community hope everybody have a great day. God bless. Thank you. Bye bye

Hi there. I just wanted to chime in and say, I'm really grateful to know that swell exists. This has been a really easy way for me to get into podcasting, and it's so much interactive, more interactive than a normal podcast, where you just sit there and listen and hear people reply. And that's great because I've learned a lot in that, in how people sort of see my work, see what I'm doing

And so that's a long gap between broadcasting from the swell to me was a way to reintroduce myself to a growing trend that's happening right now, and that is podcasting. And I hear so many different types of personalities on this platform, and I'm amazed by the intellect that's presented here. From every walk of life, people have a story, and I've enjoyed the experience of listening to people talk about their experiences and developing upon that by adding to the conversation

@TheSimonShow

Simon, thank you so much for digging into your experience with swell and where it fits into your personal trajectory, speaking into the world. I think it's so fascinating. And I think you're right. The different stories, the different personalities, the different levels of connection that happen with voice, specifically, when people take the time to really listen and also take the time to kind of frame something that's important to them and put it out there

Swell is simply a forum where somebody can just talk and it may not make sense to everyone who listens to the swell. However, it makes sense to the person that made the swell and that's where I think the beauty of this platform comes in. And I have to admit I've been a little lax myself in daily or weekly swelling, but at the same time it's really a great forum and I think your post had a lot of merit and I'm really grateful for it

And I see people posting things that I'm like, you know what? I can do this better. I speak better. But it's not even about feeling better. I just feel that I wish I had that self belief or I wish I had that courage to actually put myself out there. But now I understand and I respect everyone who actually put their content out because trust me, it takes a lot of guts to do that because it's the courage of being disliked

Welcome to Swell!

@OctiAfterDark
When you tell a story about going to the store to grab a soda, it turns into a two hour long drama fest of everything that happened between you when you left and when you got back. People's sentence spans nowadays are so like this that sometimes they don't have time to hear a story. That is not our problem. That is our gift. That is my gift. And that is another gift for a lot of you
