New Feature - Web Subscriptions and Followers
For premium Swellcasters, it means when you are marketing your Swellcast, you can simply ask people to subscribe on the web no app download. Just tell people to go to your Swellcast on Swellcast.com and then click the subscribe button, and in a few steps they get subscribed. And after that, whenever you post new content to your premium Swellcast, your subscribers will get an email with a link to that Swell, and they can use it to listen without needing the app. This creates a truly simple subscription model
I am so pumped about this with my audience being a lot of people in business and really kind of not going to all sorts of platforms and figuring stuff out. Their ability to check out my Swellcast on the web is going to be super helpful. So I'm really thrilled to hear this. Deborah, thanks so much to the Swell team

Hey there. Hi, Derek. Hey, thanks so much for posting this. We really appreciate the update on that. That sounds really great. You guys are always trying to come up with new bells and whistles. I will definitely check out the subscription feature or sorry, follow feature for those who do not do the subscription. The only reason why I haven't done that yet is because the first time I tried utilizing or adding the subscription to my Swellcast was that on my phone

So check out your workflow again and make sure if you're trying to create your own premium swell, then there's just a toggle that says premium in the advanced section. That's if you're already signed up to be a premium swellcaster. If you're not a premium swellcaster, then when you go to someone else's premium content and you try to listen, that's when it'll say, this is subscription based. Would you like to subscribe?

But there's nothing in there where you can actually add anything. And I remember in the very beginning, you guys were saying, if you're interested, make sure you put in a request to let us know that you are

But nonetheless, it simplified the reach out process and absolutely it would help to grow the followers base and the listener base even further and would even make the subscription subscribing to US Swellcaster much more simplified and easy. So just a quick question on that front. And in case they are not able to see the follow button, this is a request because not every time someone would like to subscribe first they would like to follow. So in case that is not a possibility, can we look in near future a follow button as well as a subscribe button so that we don't miss out on the followers? Thank you so much

Darsh, that is a great question, and I don't have the answer to it. Because you're right. You just need to subscribe. If you're a premium, does that mean you don't have anybody literally following you who wants to just follow you? I'm going to tag somebody here and maybe we can get the answer.
