Ep. 9–Social Media, With Intention

article image placeholderUploaded by @richtaliaferro
Then my life changed in November, and by necessity, I had to be back on social media, letting people know my news, my story, my life, my burgeoning business. How could I be back on social media and do it in a way that was healthy? I think I found two ways to do that, by being intentional and being helpful. And when I say helpful, I mean weighing in on posts that have value, sharing what I know and being of service to people

And kind of going into this with a very awake sense of, like, I don't want to lose my head and then come out of this in 6 hours and wonder where I was. So it's really interesting to talk about intention. It really is very inspiring. Thank you so much

Hey, Richard, I was really intrigued by your swell. I think social media is definitely a double edged sword, and when it comes to freedom of speech, sometimes I say to myself, you know what? Maybe we should curtail that. When I read, you know, to your point, some of the vitriolic and boisterous negative messages that are spewed on social media that really can inflame. And that's an understatement. Situations, we've seen that time and time and time again

Hi Richard, thank you so much for sharing your thought on this and welcome back in social media. So yeah, cutting off from social media is not a good decision at all. The reason is that here we meet with lots of people with the same interest and if you are into business entrepreneurship you can share your stories about your company and promote your brand with them
