Welcome Aggartha Shukla ✨
It is a great honor for me to introduce and welcome our guests this evening. Agatha Shookla is an accomplished writer with several published works to her credit, she's an 18 year old, published Indian author, mental health and activist podcaster and romance novelist who Pence sweet and spicy small towns. These contemporary romances might have a hint of mystery or a dollar proof magic
Booth of the Broken World Church in Dark is some of the works with critical acclaim. Her books have ignited a fire in every Hurt that dares to dream. Today we are privileged to have an opportunity to listen to her in this evening on behalf of the Swell Family, I welcome you Shanaya, to our Swell cast
Well, thank you guys, for the beautiful intro. Hello, everyone. This is Shanaya Shipley. I'm a multi junior author and poet. My job is to provide you with some of my best books, poetry so that I can ever write. Apart from is I'm an undergraduate psychology student, mental health activist, and founder of a monthly magazine. I think that's enough for an 18 year old girl
Okay, so you guys won't believe I had no dreams of being a writer. When I was young, though, I was fond of reading books. So I was in 9th when I wrote my first poetry, Unwanted, and that was selected for a child man writing and its loneliness does not usually appeal to the young ones. Okay, so I did what all Indian children are taught to do. I was busy studying medical and my schools. I never saw myself as a writer
That's really great, Shanaya. So, my second question to you is, what was your reaction when you first novel was published
Oh, please don't embarrass me, okay? I was so obliged to be a part of this. Okay? Thank you so much
Well, Salanko, trust me, I didn't believe it at first when I received a call from my publisher. You know, I Googled myself before even believing the fact that I even published a book. So yeah, I was not prepared for all bye
So I decided to start the same. Litvoise is a literary magazine which reviews authors from India. And trust me, we completed more than one year and you guys are loving it so much. It's
That's really great. Okay, so my fourth question to you is, how do you engage yourself in free time
Free time. Okay. I don't have any free time guys running monthly magazine and books and studies. It's really engaging, but yeah, I read books whenever I get time
So I read many books. Many, as in my wardrobe, is filled with books rather than clothes because my whole room is already filled with books. So each book is an article. Well, apart from all this, Jane Austin is my constant favorite author. Okay, she just deals my soul each time with her books
Okay. So my next question to you is how do you manage your studies and work and keep it in balance
It's quite tough. You know, I must say it is very exhausting. But yeah, little planning and self belief is what I do. See, if you have this feeling inside you that you have to do this anyhow, you will do it. It self belief play a very vital role in doing anything big in your life. Well, that is what I do. And everything has a balance
No, not at all. All my books, except some of my poetry, are total work of fiction. So yeah, they are not related to any reality, and they are not dedicated to someone special. But yeah, if you want to dedicate me, will dedicate it to my mom. You know, most of the people Ritika have this misconception that I have a secret relationship behind this media. I'm dating, but no guys, that's not true
That's great. You are not dating anyone. Okay, so my next question to you is what kind of a person you would like to date, actually
Well, to be very honest guys, nowadays I am not in a mood to date. Plus, I'm not available for dating. Okay, see, each relationship needs time. Okay? And I'm seriously busy with my life planned. Of course I don't think about the guy I will date. Okay, love is not planned for me. Accepting the person you are interested in dating is okay. Everyone has something unique. I don't plan things out specially love. Let's see

Very rightly, said Shanaya. Relationships take time and also you need to build that bond with each other. So according to your age, this is the time you need to focus on your career more than relationships and love. They could wait for its you need to grow yourself. Keeping this in mind, my next question to you is what are your future goals? And where do you want to see yourself after five to six years
Well, future goals. As I said in my previous answer, I don't plan things. So not very special. Maybe a nice psychologist helping people out from the mental traumas. And yeah, of course, won't stop writing. So yeah, nothing special, that's all
That's really great. Okay, so my next question to you is any tips that you want to give from your side, to all the aspiring writers
My advice to every aspiring writer out there would be not to give up on their dreams. If you really want to pursue a career in writing, then work hard for it. Rejections are part of journey and learn to take the them graciously. If you are good at handling your failures, you are good at handling anything. Okay. A tip I always offer to a budding writer is that they should never stop reading. Okay, my love for reading led me to writing
So first of all, thanks to you guys reprika and Sullenko for writing me to this wonderful interview session and my audience. Of course you are my love. I love you guys. Thank you for listening to me so patiently and keep supporting. And I love you guys
Thanks for taking this time out for this interview. It was our pleasure to have you on our swell cast. I truly believe that this will inspire a lot of us in chasing our dreams
