SXSW Film | Tom Petty: Somewhere You Feel Free
I just think it was so beautifully done. And I've always loved the album Wildflowers. Tom Petty is one of my favorite artists of all time. But seeing this documentary gave me a kind of next level appreciation for it not only as an album, but also just as this elevated work of art. I don't know how else to say it. I feel like we're so lucky to have been able to experience Tom Petty and his brilliance

I'm not the biggest petty fan in the world, but I respect the h*** out of the guy. So hopefully things change and I can come back and I can contribute to the conversation here

Okay, so someone's gonna have to hit me to south by Southwest because I have not checked it out and it looks like there's a lot of good work being done there. I did want to add, though, that I listened to to the Stevie Nick's biography, and there's a lot of discussion about her friendship with Tom Petty and their collaborations together, and some of the more awkward moments that happened in those collaborations

Hey Joe, whether or not you get access to it at south by Southwest definitely watch it when you can. I would just be so excited to hear what you think about how they piece it all together. I also am a big, big fan of music documentaries no matter how I feel about the artist

Hey, Kim, this was really great to learn about. I love Stevie Nicks and just Fleetwood Mac in general as well, and I did not realize that they had this collaboration, so that's very exciting for me to learn about some more music history there. I will definitely be putting Stevie Nicks on my list and we'll check out the audiobook based on your recommendation. And as far as South By Southwest, this is my first year that I've been able to attend
