Some people may find it irrational, but I do this...

But that experience just kind of stuck with me for the whole rest of my life because we're 30 plus years later now and I don't like to see my gas gauge below half a tank. So, yeah, some people may find that a bit irrational, and I can see where it could be a bit irrational, but I get nervous when the gas gauge is at half a tank or low were and I have to fix it or else get somebody else to

I don’t believe that’s too irrational. You need to be prepared. My problem is I’m always getting lost. What if I was lost with no gas stations nearby?

You. Some people might think it's irrational, but I do not. I believe that it is a very legitimate concern and a sign of just, you know, somebody that wants to be prepared and responsible. My biggest problem is I'm constantly getting lost. So what if I got lost and there were no gas stations or anything? And what would I do? So I keep my tank, about a half a tank, at least

So I let the light tell me when it's time for gas. But it's definitely a good practice and not a rationale at all to never let it go below half a ten

It would get me through the weekend, and then that following week, maybe Wednesday or Thursday, I put another $40 in my tank. And I think a lot of times people do that, too, because it's kind of like the fluctuation of gas prices going up, going down. Like, if it's low, yeah, I'll go ahead and put a little extra in there

You. Oh, my goodness. What you said about maybe I'll get lost or something, that completely resonated with me because, you know, my husband will take these road trips, and we'll go out into the country or up in the hills, and the gas gauge starts getting lower. We'll start out with a full tank because he'll stop and he'll fill it up when we're going on a long drive

But the gas line basically broke, and it was spraying a trail of gas behind us until it was all gone. Now, unfortunately, I was scheduled to work second shift that day, and we had about a two mile walk home. The boys weren't happy with that, and I kept telling them, come on, step it up. Let's go. I got to get home and try and get showered and get to work
