So my goal is to be able to share my voice with you guys. So over the next, however long it takes, I'm going to be sharing some pieces from my first two books that I wrote. And so this one is from no Sugar to coat with. And the title is called Empty. I love you. Empty. I love you. It sat there like a well crafted vase in the center of a dead dining room table. This is beautiful and mysterious, and it really settled in me. And I looked over, actually, at my own dining room table in a literal way, and I was looking at this. I happened to have an empty vase sitting on my dining room table. And it just brought me to thinking about all the metaphors of that. So I appreciate your work here very much

Never any flowers put into the vase, no purpose served or anything like that. And I just began to write how I felt. But releasing it verbally is a totally different ball game. I felt it in a new way, this go around. So I'm glad, glad that you were able to kind of pick up on the metaphors and apply them to the spaces in your life. Thanks so much for sharing

And so, again, I think I'm just bringing the words now to life like they were before when I wrote them and when I felt them. And I'm hoping that as I share things that I've written in the past, that I get an opportunity to reflect on those spaces, reflect on where I've grown, and be able to then create new piece is to be able to share with the world
