NYC earthquake of 2024

But, you know, it just goes to show how so many New Yorkers was so calm about the situation, and I, you know, I really think that as a New Yorker, we've gotten to the point where we've just become numb to tragic events and things like that, like earthquakes. Even though we haven't had one in who knows how long, others seem to be numb to things that happen. Yesterday, the lightning struck the Statue of Liberty

Hey, I spoke to my cousin this morning, and she was saying a similar thing. You know, just first, she just felt like there was just a crazy, she thought it was like another attack, like a World Trade center feeling, because she was on the 17th floor. But I think that the spirit of New York, and I come from New York City, I was not there during 911, but I had just been there August

You get temperature, you start getting sick. Why? And you get hot because your body is fighting off a disease. And I believe that the earth is heating up to fight off a disease. And the disease is people. Because we have done so much to destroy this earth. I mean, the animals that we've destroyed, the rainforests and all these type of things are happening. And now I believe that the earth is fighting back and coming against us

I've only experienced two earthquakes thus far. I did a swell about it as well. So weird feeling. And I get easily. I have vertigo, motion sickness. So you already know the whole earth shaking like that or the earth underneath me shaking. I was dizzy for a couple of hours afterwards. So, yeah, people kind of resilient. I went out with some girlfriends tonight, and the place was packed. Everybody's out eating, drinking, dancing, having a good time

But when my phone started ringing, that's when I realized, when I saw the emergency notifications, then I realized, wait a minute. Since serious an earthquake out there. But by that time, it was over. You know, I hadn't just jumped up because I kept hearing my phone ringing. But, you know, my son said he felt. He felt that they was going to put them, the kids, they had the kids run and get underneath the table and stuff like that
