#TellYourStory | A life lesson I learned from a child...

And as I watched her by this pond, using a stick to gently move the water, I was struck, like I'm usually struck by young people, by her focus and her curiosity about the unknown. She knows that there are fish and frogs, and she's very patient to not ask them to come out all at once and entertain her. She's very patient. She wants to watch what they do. She wants to be gentle and gently run the stick in their environment

What you see is what you get, especially in the moderate to severe population, the more medically fragile, the ones that really require a lot more attention, the ones that, let's say, are diagnosed with down syndrome or are really high on the autism scale, just to give you an example. But I really like working with them because again, what you see is what you get. And what I also love is how accepting they are of others

You. One of the greatest lessons I learned in life was from my son. He was not only my son, but my business partner and best friend. So we interacted a lot at the office as well as at home. And one day he said, can I talk to you for a minute? And he walked into my office, and he presented me with a problem or a challenge, and I immediately went into solution mode, because that's who I am, solve every problem

Deborah. Deborah, that is so beautiful. And exactly why I wrote that prompt. Exactly. Thank you for reminding me. That's beautiful. Last year, I was just walking in the backyard with my three year old grandson, picking buttercups. And I don't know if this was in your culture, but I picked a buttercup and I held it under his chin, and I said, do you know how you can tell if you like butter? And he said, how?
