The Central Park Maxwell

If you saw the Donald Trump interview with Axios last night, there was a moment that I mean. Well, there was a plethora of moments that jumped out at a normally functioning human being, but there was one in particular, and I wanted to play that for you. Mr. President, Galene Maxwell has been arrested on allegations of child sex trafficking. Why would you wish such a person? Well, I don't know that, but I do know that she has

And my hope is that over the next few months, we can help people who are under the spell sort of look at their own sort of more encompass and say, wow. If I was around the kitchen table and I lied to my partner, my mother, my child, and I just lied to them, and I expected them to behave, even though I'm lying to them, what kind of culture am I creating?

So, yeah, I think this platform real conversation where you can't cut and paste, you can't post a meme, right. I think it's the great eliminator of noise that we don't need to hear at least I hope so. I hope so. Alright. Thanks

Troll control!

But one of the keen observations I got from a buddy of mine was that he thought the interviewer did a really good job and that he thought the interviewer made Trump either answer the question or look obviously dishonest and avoiding it and wondering if you thought similarly and what you thought of the actual interview process. Secondly, I wanted to address your comment on the Swell platform and specifically on Trolls, because one I agree with you

And he kept trying to bring him back to the question and forcing him to answer the question. And he wasn't successful all the time. But the way he negotiated his way around Trump was pretty masterful. Unfortunately, as we know, you have to kind of stroke his ego to get him to play ball in any way whatsoever. So the guy would do that just to keep everything balanced, to keep him probably sitting in the chair. And the result was an incredibly embarrassing interview

Counterpoint... perhaps.

So I did feel like interviewer did a great job of opening up a few cracks with the way he responded. And, of course, with the way he complimented Trump a few times. I thought that was brilliant, and more people need to do that, I think. But I just am on the fence over whether that interview in and of itself moves the needle in any direction. We think it's super embarrassing for him. He may not

As far as Epstein goes, that's been one of the most interesting things to watch of all. From my perspective, you have them relentlessly focusing on the Clintons, right. Clinton had him killed in federal prison. Now, obviously, the more likely scenario is the guy who's actually directly accused of being involved with rapes of underage girls at his compound, who is currently the sitting President of the United States

Average show to your point. I definitely think that there are some Trump supporters out there that are willing to engage in conversation and have serious conversations at that about the President and some of his shortcomings. Let's say that being said, I know a very large majority of Trump supporters who are completely unwavering in their support for him, no matter what, nothing can be said, nothing can be done to change their minds. And this is not an assumption on my part

And I mean, it was close enough, and I know the result itself is disputed, but there was enough of a presence that it became an issue. And we got Trump. So I do think it's important that we maintain and insist on discussing things with anyone who's willing to we all have with the amount of support Trump does have. Almost all of us have family members, some friend of a friend you're going to run into somebody who's willing to talk about this

And again, at this point, at this point in time, I don't know how you convince. If you have watched these past four years and you don't see the tremendous errors that this man has made, what am I going to say to you to make you realize it? What will you say to them? I don't know what we do. And I guess that's what we're here to try to talk about and figure out. I'm glad the conversation is continuing

And so now you can show them data. You can show them that things that they believe are incorrect, but they want them to be confirmation bias willful ignorance. Again, my theme continues of what I've said a few. I hate to sound like a broken record, but what do you do when facts don't matter when science doesn't matter, when people's just don't care what the truth is and pushing their narrative and their twisted agenda is paramount to everything else

Working with a person like Trump

And I was the head of the board. And it was amazing to me. And every time I hear him, it just kind of it brings me back to those days. And it's very tough to listen to. And it got to the point where the way I dealt with it was, hey, I'm just going to get emails from you

I'm a glutton for punishment 😵

Okay. So I was not going to watch this interview because I wasn't really sure I could stomach it or that I would learn anything new. But last night, as I was wrapping up up my day, I received a text from my brother with a link to the interview, and he said, honestly, if you had been in a coma and woke up to watch it, you'd think it's a Monty Python skip?
