Google is contemplating ending search engine operations in Australia
In addition to Google's reaction, Facebook has parallel stated that it would stop Australians from sharing news on a splash platform. And while the consultations and negotiations between the company and government are ongoing, the world will watch closely to see how this plays out
Thank you. Thanks for the news. I think the issue that media companies had with Google was a feature in the Google search engine called Featured Snippets. For example, if I do a Google search of other average temperature of India as soon as I click enter, I get a snippet which mentions what is the average mean temperature of India. I don't even have to click any link. It's already there, but this information is from a particular website called Statistica. Right?
