Pain is a lonely experience

article image placeholderUploaded by @SueM
So I'm going to revisit that. But it's very difficult when you're in pain to even want to talk about it with someone. I don't want to just sit here and cry. And when my partner is home, I'm trying to put it out of my mind. He's a great distraction from the pain, but it is a constant thing. And I know in my deep down that it's not forever, but it feels like right now is forever. It's really tough

You, wow. Getting on that hope bus. I don't think there's anybody who will hear this that doesn't relate to the sort of the contrast you present, which is your immutable spirit of wanting to just not be crushed by this and your instinct to eat well and take care of yourself and do soothing things and reach out here on swell the contrast from that to the absolute exquisite pain that you're in and the loneliness of managing that on an hour by hour, minute by minute basis

Hello. Hey so we definitely support you on your journey. I know that is challenging. Insurance can be a funny thing, especially when it doesn't even provide the necessary care or treatment of what I would deem necessary. Anyway. Most people would probably disagree, but I think that some of the non conventional stuff goes a little bit further. I know there's plenty value in traditional medicine, but I definitely think traditional medicine has been missing the mark for quite a few decades

I can say I'm related, not exact pain. I'm not saying that I'm sharing the same pain as yours, but pain is pain. Any level of pain is pain. It does not make you kind of live in peace. There are people that we see here smiling sometimes, but we have no idea what they are going through until they tell you what they're going through. So you are not alone

Meaning we all will or have and again will be experiencing pain at some level or the other, whether it's physical or emotional. I think I have acquired or learned to kind of surpass it or overcome it is by remembering the phrase this too shall pass. I think keeping your mind at that point helps you navigate better through the pain instead of focusing on it. It's not that easy as it's sounding here verbiage wise

I'm not living in any kind of pain, but I know a lot of people who are both physical and emotional pain. I'm a coach, so I spend a lot of time listening to people talk. And oftentimes even in business conversations or what was supposed to be a business conversation, it ends up being very holistic. And I hear the stories of people's lives and usually people spend time wanting to talk about what's not working. And so again, you're not alone

Hey Christine, thank you so much for your message. I'm definitely going to look at the yoga Nidra and yeah, I'm not even sure the best way to reach out to find out some more about the healers you're talking about. I would love to make that connection and I guess maybe this is the only way we can connect

You. Hi, thank you for your analogy. I love the whole image of jumping in the pool and needing to get out of it. That really struck me. I was able to find a local acupuncturist that is going to be able to take me in this week, so I'm very hopeful and looking forward to that modality. And also, I am a Reiki healer so I am feeling in better spirits today as far as being able to help bring this healing to myself

You. Hi, thanks for replying to my swell yesterday. I really am overwhelmed and grateful for everyone who's chatting back. It is so helpful. I think the connection piece in all of this is what I'm learning to be essential in helping through this lonely. It's a lonely shared issue, isn't it? I mean, we all have pain at some point in our lives, emotional and or physical. It is a very personal feeling, but we can relate

But this was one of the top five as far as things that have hurt me, and it lasted for about a week and a half feeling like someone had kicked me in the ribs with a steel toe boot. And that's the thing I think about pain, is when you're talking about that loneliness, is that it's hard to describe, to get others to truly understand or feel what it is that you're feeling. We can try and say things like getting kicked by a steel toe boot

And so if you can couple your frequency, sound frequency work focused on that pain mitigation with some acupuncture and energy work that works on your energy field and the energy that's flowing through your body and for whatever reason, getting stuck or clogging up your nervous system, which is oftentimes one of the reasons we have pain and pressure in our body. But even below that, deep, deeper, there are layers of subconscious things playing out that, like I said, we will never know. You can't
