#Poetry | What sparked my love for poetry...

And then probably Shakespeare as well, starting with his plays, because I did theater and then going into the sonnets and then starting to write little poems in school and feeling like I could see the horizon expanding a little bit in terms of how I could express myself and express myself in abstract ways that transcended just dialogue and then reading a lot of great poetry afterwards. And I feel like my love for poetry is reignited again and again, meeting poets and hearing their poetry being read, poetry, going to readings

I love how you talked about poetry transcending dialogue and abstraction of poetry, and I think that's exactly how I feel about it. I think it. I don't know. It's not as big of a commitment as a novel or even prose, but it still gives us a stage and we get to kind of be dramatic. I don't know. I don't know if that resonates with everyone, but that's how it feels for me

He had a great history. About the most beautiful, I don't know the name in English, but in Spanish was El Agado mas Hermoso del Mundo. That was the first impact with a certain kind with poetry, with literature. So for me was interesting, amazing. And my teacher, the professor shared with me that history and was amazing. They blow my mind because was completely different. And I want to learn more about how can I write that way
