Late night poems and memories of being a young gay.
Good evening. Good evenings. Well, back again. I wanted to share a poem with you by one of my favorite poets. Emmanuel Xavier. Name of the book is If Jesus Were Gay and Other poems. And I discovered Emmanuel Xavier when I was in my 20s, coming out in New York City. I lived in Jersey at the time, but New York was right there. So that's where you went. And here I am in this world. There's all these places

And I'm really grateful that you've introduced me to this poet. His name sounds familiar, but I think that might have been the first time I've heard him read. So I thank you. And thanks for your story as well. It sounds like it was serendipity that you ran into him truly and keep it coming. I don't know if you still write poetry, but I'd love to hear it. I'm a poet. I'm really working hard on my craft

My friend used to always joke that I had all these angry, sad love poems. So just that's my Disclaimer. And then I write these stories about just like, I guess, urban living, not necessarily my experiences, but the things I could hear through the walls or I would see in the neighborhood. So I don't know anyway, if you see one or I see one if you hear one, and you just let me know what you think. All opinions are welcome
