Which one are you??

And it's brought out some interesting discussion, and I wanted to bring it here because I know there's a lot of different generations on Swell and curious as to where you are in this world. Do you stack plates? Do you leave everything as is. Do you think that's part of the dining experience? No. That's going to differ from the type of establishment you are in? I mean, there are some self busing. Mcdonald's is self busting, Denny's. Different story

Do you stack plates for waitstaff or leave it be?

I don't want to be a slob. I don't think that it's right to create an unnecessary mess that someone else will have to clean. So I think that I just try to keep a table as nice as possible, and that sort of avoids me having to have this dilemma of how do I have to clean this up, or should I leave it for this person? Usually it's just pretty clean. And if it's not, I do what I can to help

I am totally team stacking, and it's partially because of my experience over the years since I was a teenager working in the service industry and also partially, I think think I just enjoy the organizational process, like when I was waiting tables and I'd have to clear them off, there was nothing that made me feel I think, more appreciated as a human being than seeing that people clearly did what they could to make the clean up process as easiest and as quick as possible, because that ultimately impacts how many tables you can see that day, which impacts how many tips you get, which is how you make a living at most establishments in the United States
