DAW vs Dawless music production

It has a matrix with rows, and it's a 16 track recorder, so each row represents a track. It can be stereo or mono. Once you put down an audio track, you can move it around, you can clip it, you can reverse it, you can stretch it out. What's cool about that is it gives that doll like function to a multitrack that's really a dallas device so it doesn't need to hook up to a computer

Continued DAW vs DAWless

It was an awesome idea. Kind of like what Roland is doing today with the Jupiter X and the Juno X is they brought back the controls and the J 800. The J 800 was a phenomenal since they had tons of controls, tons of sliders, which are like some of the best controls for sound design because you can visually see where you are and it basically allows you to do what I call sound painting, which is really good when you're doing kind of dullest production
