This is such a brutal story. It's really hard to dig into. So rather than going into the legality of the case, I just more would like to say in general, I hope that our society can adopt more comprehensive, intensive mental health support programs in this country well and around the world. There are a lot of people who are in desperate need of support. Andrew Yates was obviously one of those people that did not get the support she needed

I remember well when this crime happened in 2001. At the time I was just aware of the fact that the woman had just had a child and we all thought that it was postpartum depression that caused her to commit this heinous crime. But after hearing some of your information in your post, I realize now that the answer is in your hashtag mental illness. And now the question runs to how is society? How is society, after all these years, still failing?
