Well, as the month of autumn has arrived it's a time for Goddess Durga to set her foot on earth and to bring auspicious days and auspicious time. Thus today is considered as Mahalai or Mahalaya which is celebrated throughout East Bengal as Durga Puja and north as Navaratri. But of course, with all this Mahalaya and celebrations where in some parts, in some corners of the heart people are joyful, we feel the vibrant vibes
