He argues that they are being mismanaged because they are Democratic States, even though these States represent the bulk of the population and they contribute the bulk of the money to the economy, which in turn contributes the bulk of the money to the federal government. There also seem to be some language and control differences that they are arguing about. What I do not understand is why all three parties don't lock themselves in a room and come up with an agreement

So that's the reality that is facing us now, given if this is true, which I can quite understand and believe, then I must ask this, how do we, as citizens in California and Illinois, try and fight the good fight to persuade a single Senator who's not from our state to change his mind?

At 79 years of age, I don't really have to worry too much about what's going to happen to me, but I am concerned for my kids, and I'm really concerned for my grandkids. I think that we are on a verge of losing our Democratic way of life. I think the United States is no longer the country that I perceived it to be, and I'm very upset with myself and my friends. We talk about this often, especially with those who agree with us
