You walk down the street and there's a party going on in the front yard of a random house of some folks you've never met, and they wave you down and invite you to come in and share a drink with them or just meet each other, say, hey, I'm your neighbor, down two doors down. We should, whatever, get together sometime. We should go hiking, we should go surfing

I really love how you described it, and it sounded like a very special campus. Also, I went to college village in a city, so it was very different. Didn't have as many surfing or hiking experiences as I would have liked to, but it was really lovely to hear you talk about it. Thank you for sharing
