"Stuck Together" - Poetry 8/28/23
You stuck together. Some things in life we do not choose. The bonds of blood you can't refuse. I know you'd not have chosen me. The brute who tied you to a tree. And just like then, you're held right. Here with questions large and things you fear but though I would not be your choice the times you hurt I hear your voice you have such strength to call your own but need not carry this alone, you know? That life's a distance race
