Words that ignite the soul and stir the heart : World Poetry Day
It is a universal language that touches the hearts and minds of people from all walks of life, bringing us together in a shared appreciation of beauty, truth and human experience. Let us take a moment to reflect on those who have created a profound impact and have, whether through their works of classic poetry or the emerging voices of contemporary writers

She doesn't use complex words, she just wants her language to be a medium of expression and thought process to reach to the masses. And I would also like to say that though she's not written a lot of poems and she's not even experimented with a lot of different themes, her poetry has this feeling of you being familiar with somebody and the one that I'll be reading out now is a losing battle

Her poem that I'll be reading out today speaks to me in a lot of different aspects. Paling queen bearers lightly or lightly we bear her along. She sways like a flower in the wind of our song. She SKIMS like a bird on the foam of a stream. She floats like a laugh from the lips

A well known Hindi poet of the Chayawad generation. The times when every poet used to incorporate romanticism in their poetry. Mahadevi Varma I first found her poetry through my 6th grade Hindi curriculum. And she is somebody who has achieved the NAN Pete Award in the year 1982. And she was born in Uttar Pradesh. She also completed her education

She decided that her every breath would now be dedicated to Krishna. Traveling on pilgrimage to places which he had lived on worshipping him in every step of the way. Living the life of an itinerant singer. As the 17th century Saint Nabadas remarked the greatest living embodiment of Rajputh womanhood was broken in exchange for bondage to the eternal lover by this Rajputh princess Mirabai her songs in praise of Lord Krishna also renounced the bonds of family in the most explicit terms. I look to keeping hermit's company lost conventional modesty

Hello. Hi. It gives me immense pleasure to see that a 17 year old girl is so immersed in the poetry and she understands poetry and understand the magic of words. What a beautiful expression, I must say. Beautiful. Beautiful. Incredible. To
