So it's a way to talk about oil or eat oil, and if you do it right and you don't have too much oil, and you just kind of blot it, and you put lots of lovely things like scallions and even a little zucchini, and it makes it into a really elegant potato blocka

Chop up a lot of fruit, mush it with wine and nuts, and you've got this wonderful paste. But Harosa doesn't just belong on the Passover Seder. It can be spread on toast all year round or put on pancakes, maybe even on your potato pancakes, Deborah. But it's a delicious combination of crunchy and sweet and tangy, maybe spicy a little bit. Definitely should be a staple, and it is for me
