Expectation

You should have goals of reaching higher marks, but you got to get your people there gradually, right? So you have to work people in. It's like hot bath water. Stick your toe in, get used to it, stick a little more in, get used to it. Stick your heine in, get used to it. And suddenly the whole body is used to it. That's exactly how it goes in leadership. That's how it goes in

And that's kind of crazy for me to think about because I can see the implications and the responses from living this way sometimes, and definitely nothing to be proud of. I mean, obviously, it's good to have standards, right? And to have high standards even. But trying to discover and delineate from how I feel those standards should be applied to my life and how I feel other people should be expected to show up is very different

Good morning and thank you so much for your compliment. It this made my day, I tell you. I'm happy that this topic helped you. High standards. I think it's okay to have high standards. I think it's when we add the expectation and we try to rush the timing and we try to make it move faster than it needs to or it or it wants to really makes a difference
