Legendary Western writer Cormac McCarthy has passed at 89
But I didn't really get into Cormac McCarthy's writing until many years ago when I read The Road and I remember experiencing it as an incredibly dark and also heartbreaking novel. I've been meaning to read more of his work since then, especially because I know a lot of writers I know regard him as just a beautiful prose stylist, though not everyone thinks that, which you can read a little bit more about in the article attached here, if you'd like

That movie was so good, I literally paid to watch it again at the next showing. I think I went to like a 01:00 showing and then I paid again to go to the four because I was like, listen, there's some things I need to unpack from this movie because it was that good. So I can't even imagine what reading the books would be like. But not but and what a powerful human to create such art that leaves lasting legacy
