When I was a child, I was told that progress comes only after one wants to improve themselves, leading them to satisfaction. But satisfaction and joy never came until later in life when I realized that satisfaction enjoy must be present for progress and improvement to be realized. Enjoy

I know a person right now who is still really struggling even though they've done so much progress and improved so much, but they're still failing to see how far they've come and still feel kind of depressed about themselves and about their progress and feel like failure. But anyway, I'm going to share this quote with them because it resonates with this issue that I'm dealing with, at least. And I don't know, I hope it ignites that same spark interested in me hearing it
