Are you living the life you envisioned?

And I love every minute that that had happened. I also, at that time, was able to become a classroom teacher and teach fifth grade and for many years, and I absolutely loved it. But then again, life happened. I was going to retire as a teacher, but instead, my health kind of got in the way and a series of life events got in the way. And we ended up moving from Texas to Nevada, and no child left behind prevented me from being a classroom teacher

More so than the things that I thought that I was going to do when I was younger. See, I wanted to be a surgeon because my hands are small and my mind loves science and anatomy. And I thought, mm hmm. That's my path. No, it wasn't my path. It really wasn't. Not because I didn't want it to be, but because life just happened, and it was nothing I could really do about it

Thank you so much for your beautiful reply. I'm going to use your statement that your life is better because it didn't go down the path of the life you envisioned. You now have a better life. And for me, that goes along with count your blessings. And it is going to be my mantra for the day because that makes me happy. And it's like, yeah, my life is better than what I envisioned it to be. And so I thank you for your reply

Hey, Kim. I love the approach and the mindfulness about just kind of doing your best, keeping that in the, you know, the vision alive and working towards it. But staying open to what life throws at you, I think, is so key. So many people, I feel like, get tunnel vision on something, and I think that can miss opportunities or at least set you back or delay the onset of opportunities
