Asia Cup Politics

And as the messages coming out from the leadership, that isn't the focus. So as much as noise that folks in Pakistan might want to make about India not participating, my sense is it could well be that despite all the animosity and everything that India does, go ahead and meet Pakistan in Pakistan, and then Pakistan will come to India to play the ODI World Cup. That is non negotiable. That is just too much money riding behind it for them

I think barring Pakistan's outstanding batting in one day cricket, I think I would rate a full strength India side better than full strength the Pakistan side when it comes to one day as a test matches, and they are the point. Like leaving all the geopolitical issues aside and everything, I would say that the Indian team, more than anything, wouldn't want to do the Pakistan, wouldn't want to do Pakistan for the Asia Cup for security reasons
