And even though I'm not a surgeon today, you could say that I am. I'm a surgeon in many things because I take apart and I put back together a lot of different things. People, feelings, books. I learn, I teach myself. So in that I learned a lot. I learned to accept and I learned to push myself

It's the connection that we have with the kids. And I have been in and out of teaching since 1991 for many different reasons. But I ended my working life as a teacher, as it should be. It was the saddest thing I ever had to do. And if somebody were to ask me what I miss about it, it would be the kids

My daughter is a special needs child, or she was, and she's outgrown it, of course, but some people don't. They don't outgrow it. She had ADHD, and I would say that she still has it as an adult. But when she was learning, she had to learn a different way. My other daughter had to learn a different way. So each child is different

Hey, Evelyn. Sorry about the background noise. Thank you for the mention. Always appreciate it. I tell you, teaching is a profession of passion because it is one where we work our buttons off, don't get paid nearly enough or appreciated enough. So thank you for this. It's really cool when we get appreciated for all that we do and all the blood, tears and sweat that we put into our children who definitely are our future. So thank you. I appreciate it. Bye

Thank you so much for that. I do appreciate that. And I appreciate your reply. I am just. Thank you. You just really have made my day. And I really appreciate it. The recognition and the recognition you have to all teachers. I know it means a lot. It's a tough profession, like you said, and it does take a lot of patience, but it's something that I will always remember is the kiddos that I've taught and how they positively impacted my life
