Some of my all time favorite song lyrics are from the band protest the hero. I just adore literally every single album that they've released. There really are no songs that I would even consider remotely bad. Some that are absolute masterpieces, of course. And one of my favorite songs of theirs from all time is called Tidal and it's off of the Pacific Myth episode. This was actually a really interesting release for them because they did one song basically every couple of weeks they released and crowdfunded for it
So one of my favorite lyrics, it's actually like two lines, is from the song the greatest love of all by Whitney Houston. As someone who's worked and educated with children for years, to me, I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way. And I really love the positive message of that song about self love. No matter what they take from me, they can never, they cannot take away my dignity. It's wonderful
