And for those of you who don't know what's great about South By Southwest is obviously going to Austin and going to all the sessions and the keynotes and the meetups and vibing out that whole world

Now I think what sort of continues to be emphasized and overemphasized by what seems to get the most attention in the media. And that's this idea that if you're Latin American in the United States, that you are a burden and or somehow disadvantaged, and I think that poverty is something that we suffer through. When my family came to United States, we didn't have very much at all. My dad was fortunate. He's a doctor and managed to work his way up and be successful

When you'd have to figure out how to let them into your story, which can trigger something in them, that would be pretty magical. And I think that's the challenge here is when you have 15 minutes with somebody and you want them to come out and ask the questions that are burning for them

And it's something that I try to pass on and what I love about that idea of I don't know what I'm thinking until I write it down is that it kind of admits to the complexity of our thoughts

And it's interesting because we have a guru culture in a lot of ways, a cult of personality culture. I don't think that's new, but when you think about the culture of south by Southwest, people pile into rooms traditionally to hear the greatness speak. And I love panels way more than I love keynotes generally, because in panels you have that bumping into each other's ideas all the time in that iterative experience that so fuels our thought process when we feel included

And I like involving myself in that in this kind of discipline in which questioning and questioning and questioning just leads to more productive thinking and marketing hopefully leads to some successes. And then even when you do succeed, it allows you to look at it again and think, okay, this can't stay this way forever. So what will I do next? And that was our house talking

So it makes me want to think of this next question, which has to do with art. In your case, you have art and logic. And there's art and design and art and technology. And Ted is technology, entertainment and design. And south by Southwest used to be music. And now it's film and education and health and technology. I'd love to riff with you about you as a moving metaphor, as a symbol, as a manifestation of art

And in addition to the idea of knowing what I'm thinking when I'm writing it down, I've also often found that having conversations with people is part of the creative process, and I think that it's sort of like having time to interact with people and interact with an environment, even can be part of the creative process

This is a weekend of yours, and you've been speaking with us, and I'm Super appreciative also just it's a shame that south by Southwest is not live because I'm speaking on a panel and a workshop and you'll be there. But we'll be there. We'll be in some cloud somewhere, and it's just so sad because it's just one of those things where you realize it's lovely that they've pivoted and it's great
