Why do you speak?

article image placeholderUploaded by @InteGritti
I spoke because someone or something placed me in a situation where a choice had to be made. We may be pressured, manipulated and influenced to make decisions, but we can't be truly made to. Even under a life or death threat, we still retain the power of choice. No one has ever entered my being and compelled me to speak against my will. People have manipulated me through propaganda, gaslighting, et cetera, more times than I care to admit

Some really interesting points here. Thank you for sharing. Welcome as well. And I'm excited to hear more of your thoughts on these kind of stream of consciousness philosophical debates. They're interesting

to remember that i , too, am worth hearing…

You a reply. Why do I speak? I speak because it was the only way my voice could be felt. Says, abandoned, lost child. I speak because when I do, maybe someone who wishes to love that which wishes to tell anything to anyone that is positive, beautiful, and that which promotes life and longevity amongst all exists. He is me and wishes to speak love and the equivalent or more upon my life. Why do you speak? Do you speak to educate me?

But as my children grew up, then as I matured, I realized that the first people that I need to be kind to is my family. If I'm kind to people outside my family and rude to people within my family, within the circle I belong to, then that means that that is not my true self. That means I'm pretending to be nice with people. So I started changing myself one day at a time
