Books are definitely our best friends for several reasons. I've tried to list down the top nine reasons here and I'm sure when you listen to them you would feel like picking up a book and reading. So as you read books from different authors from around the world, you learn about the cultures, traditions, mindsets and behavioral patterns of people across the world. This gives you an insight into different perspectives in life. You broaden your horizon with newer perspectives

Hi, Ranjana. Thank you so much for touching such a wonderful, such an insightful topic called books. And how important, how important it is for us to make this book reading an integral part of our very own, you know, lifestyle, our habit. And one must make it a kind of a ritual with himself that we at least read two to three pages of book. Whatever genre may interest us, we must lay our hands on that book. That's more important

Thank you so much, Swati. It is always so nice to hear from you and thanks for sharing your insights. And I just wish, like you said, that, you know, people would get inclined to read more and more after listening to this. Well, and I really hope that that happens because it is really important that each one of us gives time to reading because that is how we can expand our boundaries of thinking and learn so much about the world just by sitting at your desk

King Charles is a very good literature person. He understands literature thoroughly and is the head of national theatre of England. Also, during gupta period, there was an emperor Ashoka. He was very good literature person, as he was very well versed with military studies and literature and the economic literature. And while talking about the other european countries, there was a greek emperor, Marcus Aurelius. He was greatest known philosopher and an avid literature, prolific literature he was

And it's not going to be difficult at all. So I don't know where the, you know, the apprehension lies. It is, but, you know, people are definitely missing out on a very high value hobby or a high value activity that can put them much higher on their corporate ladder if they could just devote some time to reading. Thank you so much for your insights and have a lovely day. Bye
