We see Thanksgiving is constantly more and more being pushed back as a genocidal holiday towards the Native Americans, and Christmas is being forced as a capitalist endeavor that only cares about money. And I think there's a lot of truth to both of these things, but I still think there's room for optimism and enjoyment from these things that are American traditions in their own right, depending on how you celebrate them
