Lesson 1 Question for the instructor...

article image placeholderUploaded by @DressingRoom8
Thank you again for this incredibly engaging, innovative, and interactive series. My question for you, teacher or instructor, would be, I'm sure you've seen content that I've posted about my son. I'm completely that mom, head over heels in love with him. I mean, how could you not? Is he not, like, absolute perfection? Perfection. Thank you. It's in the jeans, I think. I joke. I kid, and I digress

Hey, Natasha, this is a great question, and it merits, actually, a separate maybe swell at some point that I'll do and certainly invite parents like you, but I'm really happy you sparked it. I used to teach songwriting to high school students, and it's relevant for this one reason. I really honed in on emotion captured by lyric. Like, how do you take an emotion like loneliness, and how do you find a word for it?

@DBPardes The 10-second rule is EVERYTHING 🙌🏾

This is everything. Thank you so much. And you're absolutely right. This ten second rule would be super helpful for children to have that grounding and not feel so pressured to have to react and can feel like they're in control in whatever circumstance and whatever spaces and places where their voice has to be shared. That this is intentional sharing. This is going to be a share based on their collected thoughts and that they can have a moment
