The person in the control, the person at the top, whoever that person is, creates what is called a toxic army. Toxic armies then ruin things. If this leader is a positive person, it would probably benefit the business to do this right. But 99.999% of the time, this is not positive, folks. This is a toxic person who has a position of power, who wants to put in place people they know are their yes people and will do their biddings

Hey, thanks for this. Swell. I never knew what really nepotism was. I would not have guessed it was related to the work space, but it sounds like you definitely had your fair share of running with nepotism, and obviously that brings its own set of challenges and discomforts. But overall, it's good to hear that there's a word for it and that you're working on, you know, pursuing different paths that lead you away from that
