I just got done cleaning dishes and I feel calm and at ease. But I wonder, is cleaning dishes something that's calming and soothing for you? Or do you hate it with a deep pocket passion? Share with us your stories on this particular swell

But it's going to be really hard for mine to get off that task. So it's like some kind of meditation meditation, like when you're meditating, it's like you're kind of learning how to be present, how to be in the here in the now, by way, you're cleaning something you cannot not be in the here in the now. It's like you are forced to meditate somehow, but with no resistance. You don't resist that

What are the benefits of being in the moment? @tooshy

Tushi. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this particular swell where I asked about cleaning and calmness and does it help you or does it calm your spirit? Yes, I find for me present and in the moment it can be hard to want to do that sort of thing because I tend to think about the task at hand. How long will it take other things I could be doing? And you can talk yourself out of a lot of things by just weighing the options

zen dishwashing 🙏 🥄

Didn't like doing it then, but I read some article that talked about this Zen Buddhist Cone Cohen where I think it was. I just Googled it. Zoushu was a renowned Monk and a disciple comes and says, Master Zao, can I study with you? And Zhao Shu says, Have you eaten your rice porridge? The Zach says, yes, I have. And Zaosu says, Wash your bowl. And that's the end of the story

The grunt work. @Tim

And also, yes, like you, I'm listening to stuff, which is always kind of nice. Colin and Craig is good to hear that they're still active in doing their thing. Some of the old anchor crew, and it's kind of cool to see that they're not on every audio platform like I am. It's kind of cool to see when some people have ascended to a certain state of enlightenment

immersive experiences #Dewuan

For example, if you lay down for two minutes and you kind of wake up, it's going to be more easier to get up. But if you sleep like for 12 hours, 9 hours, 10 hours, it's going to be harder

Time is rather elusive. @tooshy

So looking at that flower and being suspended, I guess in a matter of, quote, unquote, time is maybe a reality that time, as we know it does not really exist. And we actually have man made time to better understand what we consider time. So within these acts of being in the zone, conducting procedures, you can be experiencing a different aspect of time that is rewarding you for being in your moment of concentration

Like when we tap into a different level of time, maybe there is something that is going on in our mind or in our body that changes our mind, body state. And so it bleeds into the way we perceive the world and bleeds into our consciousness. Or it kind of changes the way we grow. Yeah. That's what I was thinking about. What you say is really interesting. I'm still thinking about it right now

Moments are often fleeting, which is why we need to hone in on them.@tooshy

It is in some ways what keeps us from going insane and how privileged we are to be in a time where we can sort of do the same thing without having to seriously consider, what are we going to eat for the next day or how are we going to get shelter? At least most of us on this platform, I would assume. But therein lies. The issue is that too much of anything can be bad for you

You know, that's a good question. I know. When I was younger, my parents used to make us wash dishes as a form of punishment. It did teach a sense of responsibility as an adult at 50 years old. Now I have a family of my own, and that's not something that I would use to punish my children. But washing dishes

Cleaning thy spirit and good China. @BopaChief1

It is a time of reflection for me when I am in the process of cleaning, but it can be the most hard and painful thing to think about doing at first. But once I'm actually doing it, then I find myself wanting to clean something else in something else and something else. Spread that message to the young
