I'll talk about myself, maybe some ways in which I have went about being honest was not always the right thing to do. I guess I asked this question to all of you is is is is is is there such a thing as can you run the risk at times of being harsh and cruel under the veil of honesty? I think that I can struggle with that at times as well, where I feel like since I'm being honest, it's okay

You can be honest 100% honest, but you can also choose not to respond to certain topics or for your opinion. I think in my opinion because being honest sometimes will trigger certain individuals and just cause a whole other mess that you have to get yourself out of. In the final analysis, I say that some things are just better left unsaid

But the person will not so much as they don't understand, but they will feel I'm saying something more than what actually is being said. Like, there's something between the lines when it's not really that going forward. I think I do have to realize that there is such a thing as too much honesty, and it is best left to certain people when I talk to close friends and I'm able to be as candid and honest as possible is because we had that friendship

So I think it's just the way that you approach the honesty, but I think that you should always be the authentic version of yourself. I just think that each time you do so you do have to take a different approach, whether it's are you being authentic at work? Does that require you to be possibly not sharing as many inappropriate jokes that you would possibly share with your friends? So it doesn't necessarily mean that you're not being authentic

When is it appropriate and is it necessary at this particular point in time? Will it enrich this particular situation? Will it make the clarification clear? I always want to be clear as possible. And whenever I'm misunderstood, it always can set me back. So those are just some situations and scenarios I went through. So, Katie, and how you are with honesty, do you find that people appreciate you more for it, or do they demonize you more for it
I mean, it's a no brainer for me at least, but I do admit that there are those social situations where someone asks you about your day, and you'd rather tell them that you had a good one and take them through the morbid details of what really transpired through the course of your day, because we all know that they would never get it

So I guess when I do decide to release that information, it can be a bit much for some people. So it's all good. I think to be honest with myself, that's what makes me unique is that I am too honest at times, but there are times I need to reel it in. So it's a weird, uncanny Valley of sorts. It's too realistic. It scares people. But if it's sort of realistic that has elements of superficiality, it's relatable

And when I grew up, I kind of liked the idea more and more as I got older. So it actually is a reverse. When people find out about it, they tend to hate it and admonish it and talk about how stupid it is. But for me, it was kind of fun, especially when I had kids of my own to tap into that sort of imaginative state and creation of ideas that could come forth from it. So that for me, was something that I found interesting

But at the time, the younger Dawon, I just knew that that was a fact. And later on, when I got disapproven, I was like, oh, now there are two rappers in the group that are actors, so I crisscross the information. Yeah, that's what honesty can bring you sometimes in accurate information
