Check this out: "YouTuber, Dunkey, becomes more powerful by pivoting to terrible gaming content"

Youtube is specifically prioritizing certain content over others to monetize as much as they can. It looks like some of the really bad content is the stuff that makes the most money for the company and other production companies, I guess. Or the creators. You could say, I really recommend you watch this video. This is a guy who's worked tremendously hard. He's really trying to shed some light on an issue that we're seeing. It's becoming more and more commonplace with YouTube

@Taylor where are they all going to go?

And another question is you said there will be a mass exodus of YouTubers. Where are they going to go to what's that other one. I know there are a couple of other video hosting sites, but Nome, as big as YouTube. So where are they going to go? Not critical. Sizing just wanting to know because I'm genuinely interested and take care. Bye

@Raretodd mostly to platforms with subscriptions that cost $

And that's not to say that he hasn't built up a pretty large following. He has. But what he noticed and what many people have noticed hence the article is that when he started putting less effort into the videos, changed the art in the thumbnail to align more with other really popular channels that have these tremendous amounts of views. And they got a lot more exposure on YouTube itself

Interesting to see what happens next 🧐

You know, on one hand, Dunkey has amassed an incredible following. On another hand, I wonder if he regrets not of copying the larger videos and the larger sites earlier, because at a very basic level, it's sort of. It represents a truism of business. It's like you need to create what the audience demands, not just what you like, not just what you think they like. It'll be interesting to watch them and see what happens next
