UFC 257: McGregor vs Poirier 2

article image placeholderUFC 257 Start Time, Who Is Fighting Tonight!
His only loss since then has been to Khabib Nurmagomedov submission by rear naked choke back in September of 2019. Now that happens, that guy is an absolute monster. I think he will beat anybody put in front of him. That's my personal opinion. But tonight is going to be an interesting one

SPOILERS SPOILERS

Spoilers in case you didn't hear what I just said, there's going to be a spoiler right now. So you've been warned. So that fight was great. I'm so glad that Conor McGregor lost. I'm not a fan of the guy, and frankly, I didn't think he had it anymore. I was talking with my dad, and Conor is somebody who is obviously a tremendous athlete

Is Connor done physically?

There's an old British boxing term where a person quote, dies in the ring and what that means really is just they grew old overnight in the ring. And the biggest example I can think of this from the boxing aspect is Sergio Martinez and Sergio Martinez got a late start in boxing, and he was 40 years old, but still just very quick, very fleet afoot. And he had somewhat of a knee injury going into the Miguel Koto fight and lost half a step

@Phil

You know, Phil, I don't think that he's physically done. I just think that he is physically less prepared or even mentally. Maybe he's just not all there. Now both of these guys are or 32, and they've had pretty similar careers. Conor McGregor's had 27 professional fights. Dustin Poores had 34 professional fights, and so they've been very active fighters. I think that the real difference here is that Dustin Porrid really just commits on another level
