Morning, folks today, I don't know what to name this dish because I'm experimenting out here. So I'm going to come up with an interesting name when I post this. Well, that said I have cauliflower that I need to use up. And so I came up with this recipe, and I'm going to Cook it with you guys. And if it turns out to be good, you'll have a great recipe

So starting a few things in parallel here. First I started my oven so it can reheat at 400 Fahrenheit. And then I am steaming my cauliflower florets with a little bit of salt so that it cooks a little before I put it into the oven. This just gives it a better texture

In a walk, I have taken a couple of tablespoons of olive oil and I'm going to be adding one, two teaspoon or so of poppy seeds or Kaskas, as we call it, an Indian cooking. And then another, maybe a teaspoon or so of fennel seeds. The combination of poppy seeds and fennel seeds is a great spice that we use in South Indian cooking quite often and something that I'm going to be using for this dish

I am now adding about three cloves of chopped garlic to my spiced up oil and going to allow it to Brown a bit so you can hear it over here. Crackling away

My garlic has browned. Well, so I'm now going to add one chopped onion to this and Fry that until it also Browns. Well

The onions are well browned. I added a little bit of salt for the onions. I'm going to allow this to cool and blend it and toss it with my cauliflower and Bake it. I'm going to Bake it. I don't know. Maybe 15 to 20 minutes until it Browns. Well, I really don't know how long it will take. I've never made this before, but I'm going to keep an eye on it and Bake it until it Browns

So I just took out the cauliflower. It seems to be very nicely browned. I garnished with some peanuts and I'm enjoying it. Put a photo up there for you guys

Loved the idea of poppy and fennel, like two ingredients that I rarely use. And I'm going to try that. I also loved how you prepared all the onions and the garlic and the spices. And then you blended it. And I'm just wondering when you said blend it. Did you you blend those in a blender and then use it as a sauce. Like, did you pour it into a blender and go and then pour it on to the cauliflower and then Cook it?

Hey, good question, Deb. I actually blended it in a blender, so, yes, Boosh, and then poured it over like a sauce. You're right. No additional water, just whatever I had in the wok. I just then blended, ended it and then mixed it in with the cauliflower and baked it. Just a tip. Make sure that you don't over steam the cauliflower, probably just for a minute or so, because then it makes it easier to Bake
