Tuesday Afternoon Games!

I take it that even though these two teams are in the Premier League, this does not count for Premier League standings. And then I would ask, what kind of meaning does this cup have? Will they play all their players or is this something that really they just don't care about and just throw the second string in? You got Premier League. You got Champions League. There's a lot of things that really make it confusing. I think for a US fan, this is one of them

So one of the things that I really love about cup competitions like this is that you'll have teams like Manchester City, where there's hundreds of millions of dollars that have been spent on these players facing off against teams that are nowhere near the level as far as technical quality or wage bill status, the amount of money that's just pumped into the grounds in general. And sometimes you have these really incredible performances where these teams that nobody expects to do much come out on top

1-1 at the half

Well, I think within, like, the first five minutes, Manchester City scored and I thought, Well, this is to your point on the lineups. This is going to be a blowout here, but Arsenal comes back and it's one at halftime. So this might be a fun second half to watch. Of course, it could still be a blowout, but definitely interesting

He's been out for the last year with an injury. And this is actually his first start for us since then. And the goalkeeper just comes out of the box, nails him and probably warranted a card. Honestly, from what it sounded like, and now it's half time, and they have to determine whether this kid can keep going. And right now he's really, like, sort of a prize figure at the club. So it's a tough one
