Three visual communication students, one rainbow colored ice cream truck and a whole lot of funky flavored ice creams that tickle your taste buds up, flavor sugar cane popsicles and more. I'm here today in conversation with Barradjoyant, one of the three founders of the Tickle Truck, Chinese first ice cream truck that has been making news for all the right reasons
So from that time itself, I thought, okay, once they grow up, and if in case they are going to start a business, then it should be an ice cream truck. And luckily, till the point I started, there wasn't any ice cream truck in Chennai, and so ours was the first ice cream truck. Bye

So I sent this idea to him. So I'm planning to open an ice cream parlor. But I don't want it to be just one of the 100 shops and outlet. I want it to be something different. So let's start an ice cream truck. So this is a very new concept in Chennai. And Moreover, I've done my researches and I couldn't find any ice cream trucks in Chennai. So if we start, one will be the first one in Chennai. Also
Only these kinds of flavors are available only at of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of of the tickle truck, India for these flavors from very far away places. So I was very sure about it. So I took a very large list, came up with a very large list of popsicles and also the ice creams. And after that, we took the help of our chef. His name is Kaushik Shankar
All these things have to be done and the same case happens, the sales isn't good. Whatever you invested in that outlet is gone again. You have to do the same thing in some other place. Again, you have to invest in the interiors and all these things have to be done. That is a waste of money. The truck is a one time investment concept because it's everything is ready. The interiors are done, your designs are done. All the things are ready
So in a very busy busy day or in a busy weekend, the first flavors, which gets over is the chocolate ones. Obviously, because chocolate is loud by each and every person in the world. So I have three flavors in it. One is nutty Choco, one is crispy Choco, and one is Choco Mocha. Naughty Choco is a peanut butter chocolate. One crispy chocolate is full chocolate based popsicle filled with some wafer balls in it
That you can't have it like more than two or three bites of it. So each and every spoon of the chili chocolate will have some spiciness and lots of sweet, so you can easily finish out a scoop of ice cream. And there are also other flavors like Lichi Saffron, which is also coconut milk based ice cream. And there are also normal flavors available in our shop, like Butterscotch, Strawberry and Vanilla
Wow. Just listening to you explain and breaking down the flavors is making me drool. And now I have to check them out. I know everyone else who's listening can relate to this. Okay, now coming back to the truck. What is your vision for tickle truck? Where do you see the truck? Let's say in a couple of years down the Lane, will you be opening shop as well, maybe selling online a chain of outlets. What is the plan in the long term
And so after this, hopefully I think we'll be getting a lot more contacts and a lot more inquiries and only through franchise right now we are planning to expand all over India
Congratulations on the first franchise in Albuquerque. I hope that you guys get to open more and more franchises all across the country. Now to wrap this up, what have been the key lessons you've learned along the way? Any words of wisdom that you would like to share with other young, aspiring entrepreneurs
But no matter what happens, you have to fix a goal and try to reach that goal. That's the only way you can't win in this field. Not one day in business and any kind of work you do, you have to give you 100% only when you can win. That's the only way you can survive in this field
