Rewriting, the horror, the horror....

And they're big scenes because they're the last two scenes and the writing right now is terrible and needs to be fixed before I can send it to this guy in New York. So I would like to talk about frustration in writing and procrastination. And how do you finally get to the computer to write what you've been dreading to write, what you've been dreading in order to make something better? How much herculean strength does it take? I'd be really curious if anybody had any answers

#help, #lazy, # the hell of it all.

I just invited a excuse me, that was a frog or a goat, something's in my throat. That was a poem. I just invited a few people who are writers to this. Hopefully they'll come on and chime on. And I was just laughing because as I was listening to you, Sean, I was able to hit 1.5 speed and even one point 75 speed

Thank you

Deb. That's a really good idea. Period. I just said period, because don't forget, it's not important. Thinking of what I'm working on from the audience's point of view is a brilliant idea. And I think it will work. And I can't remember what I was about to say next. But I think it's a brilliant idea. And I do walk for half an hour in the house because it's 32 degrees outside Yay, North Carolina

To the computer...

Now, if someone could tell me how I get up and go to my desk and sit behind the computer, that would be swell to play on words. See? Swell. Yeah, I know. Clever. Not really. I know that one really just has to force themselves to the computer. I've been doing this long enough to know it's all about getting up and going to a computer and just dealing with it. But if anybody has any ideas about that, I would appreciate it

My 2 cents!

Just getting away from writing the editing of my original manuscript so that when I do come back to it, I don't feel all that worn out or depressed. But I do hope this helps, and it's really nice to connect with a fellow writer here

Just do it!

So I've been thinking about this post and how to get someone to, like, just go to the computer. And, you know, ultimately, when it comes to doing something that, you know, we want to or don't want to, we really need to look at the why? Why are you writing this play? Why are you writing this musical? Because once you get that, why wouldn't you you'll get that drive if it's just not speaking to you
