@SeekingPlumb

How does this make you feel?

It's not acknowledged, but I decide I'm going to repeat it as if it was my own. And suddenly there is recognition and I am applauded for the idea. I continue to receive all of the credit going forward. Scene Change You and I are playing a game of poker with a bunch of friends. I lose a hand to my buddy Joe, but I tell him what a great move. Great play. We do a fist bump and we carry on

A series of scenes starring you and me. #equality #thoughtexperiment

I feel...

I feel like each one of my vertebraes is getting smashed up against the other one after each scenario and I'm getting smaller and I'm slumping over more feel like my face is being pressed against a window further and further that my face is flattened and the steam is completely covering up my view. I feel like my stomach is turning so much that I won't be able to ever eat again. I feel like there's a silent scream in me that's deafening and becoming louder and louder

@SeekingPlumb to be patted on your head

Exactly the perfect kind of constructive comment you want to hear the organizer of the meeting, an older woman actually patted the younger woman on the head and say, said something like, Gosh, you know your stuff. It's like patting a dog. So although you haven't provided that particular nonverbal form of feedback is one of your scenes that you've set

Welcome to Swell!

@SeekingPlumb

I felt that, @DBPardes. So important. Thank you. πŸ™πŸ»

Wow, Deborah, I felt that I think your swell is so important for others to hear, because sometimes those subtle little gestures or those little phrases or those quote, unquote little things don't feel like don't seem like much and you don't think about them. But when you stop and learn what the other person feels when you do those little things, it makes a big impatch. Thank you very much for your reply

Wow, that's what I feel when.... @topgold

Hi, Bernie. I know I probably shouldn't be surprised by these things anymore, but still still, they get me my jaw hit the floor when I heard that when a man says something like Sweetheart or sweetie, or or Darling to me, that's what it feels like. He's just Pat me on the head and dismissed me as if I am beneath him. It's a very yucky feeling right now. Thank you. No, but really, thanks, Bernie. Wow

The patriarchy is not solely... @wordsmith

Hi Srija did I did I pronounce that correctly. I think you have highlighted a very important note. The conversations that send her around the topic of patriarchy often lay the sole responsibility at the feet of men, but they're not solely responsible. Women have played a major role in it as well. And I think too often that's easily swept aside. It will definitely take all of us to create change. Thank you very much for your reply
