While I get the fact that publishers are trying to walk a delicate line by trying to preserve the author's legacy while also recognizing and rejecting aspects of his work that are out of step with current social values. I'm just wondering if in future we might find that a lot of classics that we've grown up reading and that have had obvious stereotypical undertones of not just racism but gender bias, the good versus the evil thing and the strong versus weak tropes being just pulled off the shelf

Hey, Ramya, thanks for sharing this. You know, it's been the topic of a lot of debate here in the United States, especially. And I have to say that, you know, I do think like, like you said, we are sort of walking a very fine in line here. And I think that in many cases, the best way of dealing with this would be to provide some educational context rather than just completely erase something, erase all traces of it from having ever existed
