John Candy is trending on Twitter

So maybe that's the reason. Maybe not. Maybe it's just a day to remember John Candy and the world took John Candy away from us way too soon. I personally loved Plain Strange and Automobiles. I thought it was one of my favorite movies, and Del Griffith is one of my favorite characters of all time, and I was hard pressed to think of any serious movies John Candy was in. I think it was primarily comedies

Does it matter why? Maybe from here on out Feb 3 is John Candy Day

I too, love planes, trains and automobiles. Probably more than I should, actually. And that was actually the closest thing. But that was even days ago. So they showed one of the tweets I saw. It was a picture of the Tesla Model S, some new model where the steering wheel is this weird, square looking thing. And somebody responded, it reminds me of when John Candy bent the steering wheel over in planes, trains and automobiles. And it did actually look shockingly similar

Legend

John Candy is a guy that was constantly on the screen in my house. When I was growing up. My dad's favorite film is probably planes, trains and automobiles. So we always watch it each and every year, probably right around around Christmas time, as most people probably do

I think John Hughes did that. I could be mistaken. But, yeah, I mean, the guy was just always funny, and he always made me laugh. So not a bad thing that he's trending, but he's yeah, we lost him way too soon
